Artist's Comments

I suppose now this should be under country life, but oh well. Personally, I find this photograph hard to look at because of the out of focus part of the leaf in the front there, but one of my friends saw it and set she thought it was great, so what the hell. Be gentle, haha, j/k. Full view

Thanks for Looking

Adam

:D I agree with your friend. It's a great shot. :aww: Full of melancholy, a little sad (dead leaf) but also with a grain of hope (acorn). The front out of focus only helps to see dawn the leaf and toward that great texture of wood. :D

:D And I'm sucker for B&W.

You are welcome , kinda sad scene, but the blur doesn't really bother actually it goes good with the picture.

I loved this one! :) Everything about it. Especially the part where you were the photographer. ;)

"Camouflage is pretty cool... When your in the jungle your completely invisible, but when you go to the city it has the complete opposite affect, people point and say 'hey, there's an asshole' "

This is a very cool shot. I'm on the fence at this point about what I think of the DOF of this shot. sometimes I like it, then the next moment I'm thinking it's a tad too shallow... Everything else about this shot works, and it works well. The contrasting of the old and the yet to be of the leave and the acorn add a very cool element to the photo. The wood grain of the boards make a simple yet interesting background. Very nicely done!

Twelve significant photographs in any one year is a good crop.

You don't take a photograph. You ask, quietly, to borrow it.
